How to Check the FairPlay Official Website

Learn a quick thirty-second check for typo domains, forwarded links and suspicious FairPlay login pages before you enter details or pay.

During an IPL evening in Pune, you settle down to follow the cricket and a friend forwards a FairPlay link in a WhatsApp group. The address looks familiar, but it has an extra word and opens another page before showing the login screen. That is a sensible moment to pause.

Do not judge the page by its logo, colours or confident wording. Those details are easy to copy. Check how you reached the page, read the full web address and use trusted navigation before entering an account ID, password or payment details.

The thirty-second website check

Use this as a quick routine rather than a guarantee. Start from the FairPlay overview and treat it as your reference route. From there, use the site's own navigation to reach the FairPlay login screen. This avoids making a chat message, search advert or old screenshot your only source.

  • Open the known FairPlay page and wait for it to finish loading.
  • Read the complete address in the browser bar, including the part before the first slash after the connection type.
  • Look for added words, extra hyphens, doubled letters or swapped characters.
  • Notice any unexpected redirect, pop-up or download prompt.
  • Reach login, registration, payments or support through the site's own menu.
  • Save a bookmark only after the address and navigation remain consistent.

A secure connection indicator is worth checking, but it is not proof of ownership. It mainly shows that data travelling between your browser and that address is encrypted. A copied page can still use encryption, so combine this check with the address and navigation checks.

Spotting typo domains

Typo domains rely on small visual differences. Watch for a missing letter, an added hyphen, a repeated character, a numeral in place of a letter, or words such as login, app, official, win or bonus attached to the name. On a small phone screen, those changes can be surprisingly easy to miss.

Do not assume that every unusual address is harmful. You may have mistyped it yourself, or a genuine address may use a subdomain. The practical rule is simpler: do not use an address with unexplained changes for credentials, UPI payments or app downloads until you have reached it through a known page.

Also remember that search titles and link previews can be copied. A page can display the FairPlay name while the browser is contacting a different host. Always read the address bar rather than relying on the large heading, favicon or text shown inside a message.

Why forwarded links need a second check

A forwarded link may come from a friend who meant well, but the original source can still be unclear. It may contain tracking details or pass through a campaign host. That does not prove wrongdoing, yet it gives you a good reason to verify the final destination before continuing.

The visible text in WhatsApp, Telegram, email or SMS is not necessarily the destination. If your messaging app offers a link preview, use it as an extra clue, not as final proof. If the link jumps between addresses, opens a pop-up or asks for an immediate download, close it and start again from the known FairPlay page.

Ask where the sender found the link. A reply saying it is official is not the same as a verifiable source. If you need confirmation, reach the contact page through trusted navigation and use the contact details shown there rather than replying to an unknown message.

Read the address bar properly

On a phone, open the browser address bar and read the full host instead of accepting a truncated view. Scroll across it if needed. The host is the part after the connection type and before the next slash. A brand name appearing elsewhere in the address does not make that host the brand's domain.

Pay attention to unfamiliar endings and characters that merely resemble familiar letters. Browser fonts can make some combinations difficult to separate. If you cannot read the address comfortably, do not enlarge your trust to match the page design. Close the tab and return through a saved, verified route.

Avoid using an old screenshot as your map. Web addresses and app distribution routes can change, and a screenshot cannot show whether a current link redirects somewhere else. The address you can inspect in your own browser is more useful.

Check login pages before entering details

Open the FairPlay login page from a known FairPlay route. If a forwarded link suddenly asks you to sign in again, close that tab and open the login page separately. Genuine session prompts can occur, but an unexpected prompt after a chain of redirects deserves a clean restart.

Never share your password, UPI PIN, one-time code or payment authentication details with someone who contacts you through a forwarded message. If you have already entered account details on a page you cannot verify, change the password through the known login route and contact support through the trusted site.

Verify payment pages separately

Before making a deposit, review the FairPlay payment methods through trusted navigation. For UPI, check the recipient details and the amount in rupees inside your payment app. A familiar logo on the preceding webpage does not confirm the recipient shown at the final payment step.

Cancel if the recipient, currency or amount differs from what you intended. Do not approve a payment merely because the page says the session will expire. Return to the known FairPlay page and begin the deposit journey again. Keep passwords, UPI PINs and one-time codes private.

Use the app page, not a chat attachment

If you want the mobile app, begin at the FairPlay app page and follow its current instructions. Do not install an APK or configuration profile from a chat attachment simply because the sender calls it official. A copied icon, app name or promotional image is not verification.

On an app store, compare the source link, developer information and supported device details rather than choosing the first matching result. If your device warns about an installation source, do not bypass that warning solely to use a forwarded file. Return to the known app page and check again.

Search results are only a starting point

A sponsored search placement is not a verification badge. Search listings can also become stale while the underlying page changes. Compare the address, current content and internal navigation before trusting a result.

The FairPlay India page, About Us page and FAQ can help you compare the current route and find support options. If a search result leads to a different host or repeated redirects, leave it and return to a page you have already verified.

What to do if you opened the wrong page

If anything looks altered, stop interacting with the page. Do not try to fix the problem by entering more details or approving another payment. Use the customer support route reached from a known FairPlay page.

  • Close the suspicious tab and do not reuse its link.
  • Remove any bookmark you created before verifying the address.
  • If you entered a password, change it through the known login page and review account activity.
  • If you initiated a payment, contact your bank or UPI provider promptly and report the page through trusted support.
  • If you downloaded a file, stop using it and remove any unknown app or profile before continuing.
  • Keep the message, full address and screenshots so support can review what happened.

None of these steps guarantees that a refund or account recovery will follow, so act promptly and keep records. The main goal is to prevent further exposure after a doubtful visit.

A routine before cricket or kabaddi betting

Live cricket and kabaddi markets can move quickly, but speed is a poor reason to skip verification. Whether you are in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi or Jaipur, open your verified bookmark, check the address and use the site's own menu before visiting live betting or any account page.

The same routine applies to promotions. Reach the FairPlay bonuses page through trusted navigation rather than an unsolicited advert, and read the displayed terms before participating. Set a budget in rupees and use the responsible gaming tools if you need limits or a break.

Quick final checklist

  • Did I start from a known FairPlay page or a bookmark checked earlier?
  • Does the full address avoid unexplained extra words, hyphens or character changes?
  • Did the page avoid unexpected redirects, pop-ups and download requests?
  • Did I reach login or payments through the site's own navigation?
  • For UPI, do the recipient and rupee amount match my intention?
  • If anything feels uncertain, did I stop and use trusted support?

The short answer

To check the FairPlay official website, do not treat a forwarded link or copied logo as proof. Start from the FairPlay overview, inspect the full address, avoid unexplained redirects and use trusted site navigation for login, payments and support. If the route still feels wrong, close it and verify through the trusted contact page.
